While shopping for straws, I noticed that the store sold only Jumbo and Giant sized straws.  Since I didn’t know the difference between “jumbo” and “giant”, I compared them.  As near as I can tell, “jumbo” seem to be a normal sized straw while “giant” seemed to be a little longer.  But, since they didn’t offer small, medium or large, I bought the “jumbo”.  Life is too short to worry about straw sizes.

Homes in a small town near me were heavily damaged by a storm.  And, as the local TV news team walked through the remains of houses, they proudly announced that thankfully the damage was caused by straight-line winds and not a tornado.   I hope that the people who lost their houses find comfort knowing that it wasn’t a tornado.

The other day while shopping for canned baked beans, I noticed that one company stated that these were their “best” baked beans.  So, I had to wonder if they also sold “OK” baked beans.  But,after searching the selves, I didn’t find any so either the store doesn’t carry their lesser quality baked beans or they were sold out.

The other day at church, I noticed a woman with a blue toenail on her big toe.  It looked as if she had smashed it some how.  But, before I could ask her about it, I realized that was blue nail polish with a white design.

Fortunately, I didn’t comment on her injury as it would have been embarrassing for both of us.  But more to the point, what was she thinking?

Like it or not, Christmas is just around the corner.

Unfortunately, if you have seen one, you have seen them all.  They are even all about the same price.  And, since you can’t demo them, I guess you just pick one and hope for the best.

For those of you who are afraid of the dark, there is now a lighted toilet seat.  You no longer need to use your flashlight to see what you are doing.  The toilet seat will do that for you.

I wonder if you can get Lazar sights for it?

So, this new “flush engine” can handle 4x more than the average adult needs.  Does this mean that it is for the above average adult?  Perhaps it is for those people who frequent those “all you can eat” buffets.
