I recently attended a training class at one of the State of Michigan conference centers.\u00a0 Since I had never been there before, I needed directions.<\/p>\n
Everyone told me that it was at the end of the road and through the gate.\u00a0 That\u00a0 sounded easy enough.\u00a0 But, when I drove through the gate, all I found was a large vehicle maintenance garage.\u00a0 But, I did notice another sign pointing me through the next gate followed by another sign pointing me through another gate.<\/p>\n
Finally, I arrived at the conference center.\u00a0 But, as I parked my car, I realized that I was the only person there.\u00a0 Lots of gates and high fences but no people.<\/p>\n
I tried the front door but a sign announced that the building was closed.\u00a0 Then I\u00a0 wondered, why three sets of gates and three sets of fences?\u00a0 Why is the door locked?\u00a0 What are these people afraid of?\u00a0 I got back into my car and locked the doors.\u00a0 I spent the next 20 minutes surveying the country side.<\/p>\n
