This morning on my way to Meijer (regional grocery chain), I passed by the Lowell Burger King.\u00a0 I noticed that their street sign was missing but I assumed that it was just wind damage.\u00a0 However, on a second take, I could see that all of the signs were missing and that the building was dark.\u00a0 The Lowell Burger King is gone!<\/p>\n
In a way, I am not surprised.\u00a0\u00a0 Their drive through service has been terrible lately, a reflection of bad management of the franchise.<\/p>\n
And, I think that they made a bad decision a few years back when they decided to remove their indoor playground.\u00a0 When that happened, that playground crowd took their business to the McDonalds playground just down the road.<\/p>\n
Well, I am going to miss the Lowell Burger King.\u00a0 I guess I will have to get a Whopper in Grand Rapids when I get my car washed.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
