Invariably when I check into a motel\/hotel room, the message waiting light on the telephone is flashing indicating that I have a voicemail message.\u00a0 But as usual, it is the hotel\/motel welcoming me as their guest.\u00a0 And while this it a nice gesture on the part of the establishment, it is a real pain for me since I have to learn how to use the voicemail system in order to retrieve their welcome message.\u00a0 Of course, I could just ignore the light but what if it is a message of some import?\u00a0 In the end, I cave in and retrieve their message.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
