My boss and I stopped at a local convenience store the other day on the way back from a meeting.\u00c2\u00a0 While we were in there, a 30ist woman came in wearing a winter coat and pajama bottoms.\u00c2\u00a0 After\u00c2\u00a0 studying the situation for a little while, my boss whispered in my ear that she thought the woman was wearing pajamas.\u00c2\u00a0 I whispered back that she was correct in her observation.<\/p>\n
My boss was shocked.\u00c2\u00a0 In her mind, pajamas are only to be worn in bed.\u00c2\u00a0 And, if you are out of bed, you put on a robe.\u00c2\u00a0 But more importantly, you never wear pajamas in public.<\/p>\n
I was surprised at her reaction and told her that it was a fad to wear pajamas to high school.\u00c2\u00a0 This sent her on “tilt”.\u00c2\u00a0 I asked her what the difference was between wearing pajamas verses sweat pants?\u00c2\u00a0 She said that pajamas were like underwear that you wear for sleeping.\u00c2\u00a0 I told her that most schools would rather have girls in baggy pajamas than short skirts or tight jeans.\u00c2\u00a0 Apparently, even though she has two teenage daughters, the pajama issue has never come up before.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
