Parts Is Parts.

The other day, one of the meals that I was cooking called for poaching a whole chicken.  But when I went to the local meat market, they were sold out of chickens.  So, I went on down the road to the local grocery chain to see if they had any whole chickens.  And since they have a huge cooler case of chickens they usually have a good selection of whole chickens.  And while they had packages of breasts and packages of legs and packages of wings and packages of thighs, they didn’t have any whole chickens.  They didn’t even have a package of a whole chicken that was cut up.  So, I ended up buying a package of thighs and calling it good. After all, I was just going to poach it any way and pull the meat off of the bones so I guess it didn’t really matter.
