It used to be that suet just rendered fat made into a brick like cake.  But suet these days are loaded with extras, kind of like nachos.  There is suet with cracked corn, and suet with meal worms and suet with peanut butter.  Actually, as I think about it, suet with peanut butter might quite good if spread on a hot bagel.
