Flu Medication.

The other day when I was sick with something that for all the world seemed to be the flu, I remembered buying some antihistamines that my doctor recommended.   This medication was special in that it would not raise my blood pressure.

But, when I checked my medication drawer, I could not find it.  No problem.  I remembered that when I purchased it last year, it was the only antihistamine that I could still buy off of the shelf.  So, I headed to the store.

Well, to my surprise, the shelves were now full of antihistamines.  I thought that maybe if I read the list of ingredients, I would recognize the one that I needed.  But no such luck.  They all sounded familiar.  So, I decided to ask the pharmacist.

The pharmacist was of no help.  He said that they all will elevate my blood pressure.  But, since this would be for short term use, he said that I probably would not “blow up”.  So, since I had regular antihistamines at home, I decided to try those instead.

Well, to my surprise, I found my special antihistamine and, it wouldn’t expire until March.  YES!!  So, I  took one.

I will see if it does anything.
