Well, it has already started; the grab for greed. One winner of the lottery who unwisely announced the winning ticket is being attacked by those who also claim an interest in the ticket.

In particular, there is a lottery pool where X number of people pool their resources to buy X number of tickets as a pool hoping that one will win the lottery and it will be share by all.  But alas, there is no legal status for the pool so it relies on the integrity of the members to do “the right thing”.

In the case of the Mega Millions, the winner claims that the winning ticket was purchased separate from the pool and therefore the pool is out of luck.  The pool disagrees.
