Quy, my co-worker, approached me today and asked me if I wanted to go shopping with her at lunch time. She had two “$50 off” coupons for Younkers that were going to expire on Saturday and wanted to use them. Since I was looking for pajamas and since I had not yet checked Younkers, I said “yes!”
Now, pajama sets are not really popular right now, so, about the only manufacturer that I like that makes them is Nautica. And, while many stores carry that brand, most stores have a very limited selection. So, I was impressed that Younkers carried a good selection. And so, I found a matching top, bottom and robe that fit. YES!!
But, when I went to the check out and presented my $50 off coupon, the clerk announced that the coupon was not good for Nautica sleep wear. He asked if I still wanted the sleep wear and I told him that I did. After all, this was the only store that carried the sleep wear that I wanted in the size that I needed.
I should be good until winter.
Worth Full PriceI bought this tank in black and grey while in my 2nd trimester. I was able to buy them at a slightly cheaper price using a coupon code, but I love them so much I would gladly pay full price for them. I’m now halfway through my 3rd trimester and it still fits perfectly and looks great. They are super comfy as well as being nice and long and coming up high enough in the chest (but not too high). Since it’s cooler out I wear these underneath other maternity clothes that need a bit more coverage–either in the chest/neck area or some length at the bottom so the band on my maternity jeans stays covered. I’m even planning on … one to my shower underneath a dress that’s a bit too low cut. I typically … medium in regular Gap clothes as well as maternity so that’s what I ordered and it fits perfectly. By far my best maternity purchase, especially the black one. I … so much I’m thinking of buying another one in black.
