I know it may not look like much but it is the solution to a problem that I have had for over 20 years.  While I have been able to remotely open my garage door for over 20 years, I have never been able to remotely turn on my outside lights.

If I wanted my outside lights to be on when I came home, I had to turn them on when I left the house.  Thus, they were on from the time that I left the house until I returned and shut them off.  This, of course, wasted electricity.  And, I always thought that it was neat to open my garage door from a distance and wished that I could do the same with my outside lights.

Well, with the installation of this magical little light switch (the one on the left with the dot) and an iPhone app., I can now turn on or shut off my outside lights from any where that I can get a WiFi connection.

Yes!!!!
