While loading new programs on my PC, I noticed that it seemed to run quite slow.  But, since I had no experience with 8.1, I didn’t know if that was normal.  After all, I have had some pretty horrible versions of Windows over the years.

Now, by slow I mean it might take a couple of minutes to launch a program.  And, it might take several minutes to close a program.  So,  I decided that maybe I needed to reboot the PC.  After all, that is the universal cure for most PC problems.
