While in Chicago, we decided to visit the Museum of Contemporary Art.  Since we have visited other contemporary art museums, we were looking forward to seeing sculptures and paintings.  But instead, we saw a room full of tables covered with dirt, carved sheets of particle board with racist comments and furniture covered with concrete.

Originally we thought that we would spend two to three hours there but we were finished after only half an hour.  And, since we had put two hours into the parking meter, we walked down to the lake for some people watching.

Oh, the museum gift store was more interesting that the museum and, unlike the museum, it was free.
