Back in 2006, a Texas man was arrested for killing his wife and children and then cutting their hearts out. While he was awaiting his trial, he ate his right eye. The judge was not impressed and declared him competent to stand trial.

He was convicted and sentenced to death. While waiting on death row, he ate his left eye.

He has since been transfered to a Psych ward in a different prison. I guess cutting the hearts our of your family is normal in Texas but eating both of your eyes indicates that you are nuts.

Maybe he just didn’t like the prison food.
