A bass is a fish, plain and simple. A bace is a musical instrument or a music range. Now I know that some or most of you will say that a bass is a musical instrument or a music range but I don’t understand how you can construe that.

Ass is pronounce ass. Add a b to it and you get bass. Ace is pronounce ace. Add a b to it and you get bace.

I know, most of you have been taught that bass can be pronounce with the a as a long vowel but this defies all of the rules of grammar. So, a bass is a fish, a base is a foundation and a bace is a musical instrument or musical range.
