Citing increased competition, Starbucks is raising the price on some of their coffee.

So, let me see if I have this straight.  Starbucks is  complaining about increased competition.  So, in response to this increase in competition, they are going to raise their prices.

Well, it seems to me that they have it all backwards.  I would think that the proper response to increased competition would be to lower their prices instead of raising them.

I just can’t imagine anyone wanting to go to Starbucks because they have raised their prices.  But hey, what do I know.
