Well, in keeping up with family tradition, we put up a 15 foot tree.  Fortunately, the market just out side of town had some really tall trees and even delivered it for us.

For many years, we did not have the room for a big tree so it was always a challenge to find one small enough for our house.  But, with the addition and a 22 foot ceiling, we have much more flexibility on tree size.  And, in fact, given the size of the room, a small tree would look out of place.  So, 15 feet and a 1,000 lights later, the tree went up.  Fortunately, all of the lights are LEDs so I don’t have to listen to the electric meter whirring all night long.

Kathy always loved having a nice big tree, so, it only seemed fitting.
