A billboard for a nursing school advertizes “81,000 graduates, 81,000 job leads.
Now, one would assume that this 1 to1 ratio means every graduate got a job lead. But, we all know that some graduates are going to get multiple job leads and some are not going to get any. And, even if you do get a job lead, that doesn’t mean that you are going to get a job.
But, the billboard looks nice I guess.
Much of this was made worse when Congress, under Republican leadership-, revised the bankruptcy code to prevent discharge of student debt and to prevent “cram-down-” of residentia-l mortgages.
