Every year, my church puts on a wild game dinner for the men of the church. And, the men are encouraged to bring their favorite wild game dishes to share with others.
Well, one of the dishes at this years dinner was Rocky Mountain Oysters. Unfortunately, one of my friends took a helping of it with out knowing what it was. And, as he was eating it, he commented that it was rather tough and didn’t taste at all like oysters. That is when we explained to him what it was that he was really eating.
Upon learning the truth about what he was really eating, he got a real funny look on his face and proceeded to remove the “oyster” from his mouth. I suspect that next year, he will ask more questions about the food before he eats it.
