When credit cards first appeared, they were just plain.  Then, they came out with the Bronze, Silver and Gold cards, each of which offered some special benefits.  Then came the Platinum card which is better than Bronze, Silver or Gold.

But, now I am being offered the Black card.  And, since black is a color and not a metal, I assume that it holds some special power.

Well, what ever its power, the interest rates and fees were too high so I threw it in the recycle bin.
