In order to join Ada Bible, we had to take two membership classes and have an interview with two Elders. Well, last Sunday, Kathy and I had our membership interview.

It was quite an interesting interview and very intense. They asked questions like when we first came to know Christ as our personal savior and what we though of baptism.

All and all, the interview lasted for over an hour and they seemed to focus on our spiritual life. This was different from the CRCs ten minute interview where they focused more on doctrine and less on the spiritual.

We were quite impressed with the process and came away feeling uplifted. We will probably be baptized after the first of the year.
