The other day, I was in Meijer (regional grocery chain) looking for jelly beans.  And usually, all of these holiday items greet you as you walk in the door.  But to my surprise, there was nothing.  No jelly beans, no Peeps, no chocolate bunnies.

Were they all sold out or were these items in a different location?  So, I checked the candy isle.  Not there.  Then I checked the bulk food section.  Nothing special there but I did find some jelly beans.  So, I grabbed a couple of containers and checked out.

As I was leaving the store, I noticed a sign that stated “Visit Our Seasonal Area for more Easter Supplies.”  But, since I had already purchased my jelly beans, I headed out the door.  Besides, I have no idea where the “Seasonal Area” is located.

Sometimes, I really wonder if the store knows what it is doing.
