While in the health food store, I noticed a package of dried heirloom pumpkin seeds. I just wasn’t sure if they were for eating or planting.

Jungle Peanuts.
While shopping in the grocery store, I noticed that they now sell Jungle Peanuts. Now, I am not sure what Jungle Peanuts are actually. Are they a variety of peanuts or is that where they are grown? Maybe they are sold by the Jungle company? The next time I am the store I will have to check them out.
The Dilly Dally Deli.
Our grocery store has a deli of sorts. And while they sell a lot of fried chicken, you are hard pressed to get a spicy chicken sandwich. The spicy chicken sandwich is on their menu so the other day I inquired about getting one. I was told that they are not making them at the present time.
Well OK. I went to Micky Ds and purchased their chicken sandwich instead.
The Massive Greenhouse.
The massive greenhouse is out in the middle of nowhere. And since it is so big and takes hours to go through, they have a food truck parked outside of it. And, they also have an ice cream stand there. I guess they don’t want you to leave prematurely.
Hot Tar.
A road repair crew got creative with their hot tar. Not only did they fill the cracks in the road with hot tar, they also wrote their names on the road with hot tar. But since they wrote their names in cursive, the names blended in with the other tar lines on the road.
Hit Once Again.
The 100th street bridge over US131 has been hit for the 7th time this year. What can I say? This is getting ridiculous!
The Oversized Mattresses.
Someone now makes an oversized mattress that is a 1/2 foot longer than conventional mattress. Of course, because it is not a conventional size, you have to buy custom sheets for it. Fortunately, they also sell sheets that fit their mattress.
Universal Remote Controls.
I have a basket full of remoter controls: one for my TV, one for my cable box, one for my DVD player and one for my CD player. And while it would be nice to have just one remoter control for all of my devices, I know that it doesn’t exist. Life can be hard sometimes.
Red, White And Blue.
This has got to be a great time for retailers. Not only can their patriotic merchandise be used for Memorial Day. They can also be used for the 4th of July.
Knife Attacks At Chinese Schools.
Recently a student in China killed 7 students with a knife. Since China restricts gun ownership, people are forced to use knives and homemade bombs.
