The news reported that there is legislation pending to make it illegal for welfare recipients to purchase pot with food stamps. Or was it pop? Either way, it will be as effective as banning the purchase of cigarettes and alcohol with food stamps.

Recently on the news, I heard that Al Capone’s favorite gun was a hammerless .38 made by Iver and Johnson. I found this fact to be quite interesting since I happen to own a hammerless .38 made by Iver and Johnson. Iver and Johnson also made bicycles FWIW.
More Museums Than Starbucks?
A news report stated that there are more museums in the US than Starbucks and McDonald’s combined. I find that hard to believe but then, I haven’t counted them so I don’t really know.
No More White Boards At MSU.
MSU is banning the use of white boards on the outside of dorm room doors. It seems that some people were writing nasty messages on these white boards. So, MSU decided to ban them completely. I suspect that people will just start writing nasty messages on the doors instead.

The other day, I received an automated call from someone claiming to be the I.R.S.. They gave me a number to call and told me that I needed to do so immediately. I knew that this was a scam but I tried to call them back any way. I was curious as to what they were going to tell me. No luck. The line was always busy.

A man, who claims to identify as a woman, has started using the women’s locker room at the local pool. And while the women don’t like it, there is very little that officials can do to stop it. Oh well.

The latest innovation in refrigerators is a window in the door so that you can see what is inside. Wow, just like at the grocery store.
Working With Crazy People Helped Prepare Me For Life.
When I was in high school, I worked part-time at an ice cream parlor that was run by a family of crazy people. And while the “mom and pop” operation provided me with enough material to write a TV sitcom, it also helped prepare me for a career in state government.
