A TV ad features a father trying to show his daughter how to shave her legs by shaving his own.  That is just so unrealistic.  Most young girls learn to shave their legs with the help of their peers and not their parents.  I guess we can be grateful that he wasn’t showing her how to do a Brazilian wax.

A prisoner whose sentence was commuted by President Obama was gunned down one day after being released from prison.  I guess his enemies were waiting for him.  At least when he was in prison, he was safe.

A local Valentines Day event is selling tickets for $6 a person or $12 a couple.  Actually, I am not sure why they even offer the $12 tickets as they are not any cheaper than buying two $6 tickets.

My family regularly checks expiration dates on food.  Any food that is past the expiration date gets thrown out.  But where does the food industry get those dates?  Testing?  And if food exceeds those dates, is it unsafe to eat?  Just curious.

Scientists have now determined that eating burnt toast can lead to cancer.  While I applaud their efforts, I don’t think that eating burnt toast is a serious health concern for the public as a whole.

Tired of taking those boring math and science classes?  A school is now offering a course on Kanye West.  I am sure that it will look good on a resume.

I seldom use public restrooms.  But when I do, I am always grossed out when my shoes stick to the floor.

While Sears may be going under, Craftsmen tools has managed to escape.  They are now owned by Stanley and available at hardware stores near you.

A local college is now offering a course on “Hip Hop”.  I guess you teach what you have to teach to make a buck.

I was watching a program on TV on cooking authentic Mexican food.  While the program was interesting, I would have been more impressed if the chef had been Mexican and not Asian.
