Apparently a law requires that sidewalks be built with all new construction projects. And while this sidewalk goes no where, it meets the letter of the law. I wonder who will be responsible for building the bridge over the drainage ditch?

The road in front of my house had a lot of pot holes in it. And the City got tired of patching them. So, the City decided to rip up the black top and replace it with dirt. Now, the City spends several hours a month grating and re-grating the dirt. So, this is progress?
My morning schedule is pretty consistent from the time that I get up until the time that I leave the house. But, every now and then I find myself running 10 minutes ahead of schedule. And whenever that happens, I have to wonder if I have forgotten to do something. After running a mental check list and finding that everything is complete, I can only conclude that I was having a moment of high efficiency.
