A woman at a local fast food place now has new dentures.  I know that her dentures are new because last week she didn’t have very many teeth.  The question is “should I comment on her teeth or keep quiet?”

There is now a petition drive to end the current Gerrymandering practices.  And while the drive claims to be a “grass root” movement, their leadership seems to be composed of Democratic.  But I have to ask, “where were these people 10 years ago when the districts favored the Democrats?”  It sounds to me like the Democrats are mad because they lost so they now want to control how the districts are made.

This piece of art was made with M&M like candies placed on the floor.  But there was no barrier and unfortunately, someone stepped on it.  But then again, maybe the artist was making a statement.

Once again, Art-prize has brought in art experts to judge various art entries.  And once again, I am baffled as to what these experts call “art”.  I like art that is aesthetically pleasing while the experts like art that makes a statement.  They see a statement of unity while I see a worn out tire.  Oh well.

I purchased a pair of steel toed construction tennis shoes.  And while I purchased them because they were heavy duty, that steel toe has come in handy when I accidentally kick something.  Now if I could only find some steel toed slippers.

I saw an ad for a device that helps you put on your socks.  You simply stretch your socks over this device and then insert your foot.  But, I have found that if I have problems putting on my socks then it is time to trim my toe nails.

Our local school started holding classes before Labor Day which is contrary to State guidelines.  The early start was to compensate for possible snow days.  But as it turned out, we had several days in a row where school was let out early because of the heat.  Go figure.

Your feet contain the same bacteria that is found in Limburger cheese.  Well, I guess that explains the cheesy smell I get when I clean my toenails.

We recently attended a local art fair.  While most of the items for sale were in the $10 – $100 range.  But there were a few items that were $3,000 – $4,000 range.  While that price is out of the range of most people at the art fair, I guess you never know until you try.

This corn is so fresh that it is being sold on the stalk.  What will they think of next?
