If you raise $1,500.00 for a local charity, you get to repel down a high rise building in Grand Rapids.  I wonder how much you need to raise in order to use the elevator?

An article that I read recently stated that Americans use 500 million straws per day.  That is a real shocker.

Christmas is coming but what happened to Thanksgiving?

A school in Florida is now offering “front of the line” passes for their school cafeteria.  For $100, your child will no longer have to wait in line with the other students for their school lunch.  What says “privileged” like skipping to the front of the food line.

The new Ford Bronco was released to the public on the same day that O.J. Simpson was released from prison.  I suspect that it is just a co-incidence.

Whiskey flavored toothpicks are a new item on the market.  I guess this is a transitional thing because I remember having them when I was a kid.  They also came in cinnamon flavor.

They now have soap for blowing bubbles that is catnip scented.  Well, that ought to drive the cat crazy.

The younger generation are now discovering that you don’t need cable or internet to watch TV.  Just place this new technology called “rabbit ears” on your TV set and you can watch TV for free.

They now have vending machines for clothing.  I guess these are for people who arrive at an airport only to find that the weather conditions were not what they had planned for.  Whatever.

While this may look like a painting, it is really a quilt.  Truly amazing.
