Chicago has a $.07 tax on all bags.  I guess they are trying to protect the environment.  Maybe they can use the money to off set their pension deficit.

While visiting downtown Chicago, I couldn’t help but notice that when the traffic light turns red, the BMW drivers pull up on to the sidewalks and proceed on through the intersection.  I guess they can afford to get a traffic ticket.

A local scientist claims that there are “unknown draw backs” to the environment.  Well, if the draw backs are unknown, how does he know that they exist?  I think that there could also be unknown advantages.

One of our local TV hostesses has ugly legs.  Yet, she insists on wearing short skirts.  I guess she thinks that they are attractive.  What ever.

I was in a fabric store the other day when I ran across this product.  I wasn’t expecting to find freezer paper in a fabric store but I guess they are diversifying.

I do a lot of grilling but I don’t do it as a profession.  Since I was worried about getting in trouble with the IRS, I passed on this product.
