The weather people report that Michigan had the warmest March in 137 years.  And while the environmentalist are claiming global warming,  in reality after that warm spell in 1880, March has been cold.

The sheriff of Chicago s Cook county is afraid that if private citizens are allowed to own guns, that Chicago will become a new version of the wild west.  Unfortunately, Chicago became the new wild west several years ago and it s law abiding citizens just want to protect themselves.

A recent YouTube video making the internet circuit shows an elderly woman in a wheelchair getting hit in the face with a piece of poo.  The poo was thrown by a chimpanzee.  It just goes to show that you must be on your guard at all times.

Unlike days of old where any one could work on a tractor engine, the new tractor engines are all computer controlled.  And the manufacturers claim that the computer systems are proprietary and off limits to anyone but authorized dealers.  So farmers have started to hack into the computers in order to repair them.

When I went to the library, I discovered a Hemingway book that I hadn’t read.  When I checked it out, I realized that it was just the Spanish version of “Farewell to Arms”.   I should have paid more attention.  Some days are like that.

It may be spring time in Michigan but the mornings are still pretty chilly.

The packaging for LED light bulbs claim that the last up to 30 years.  Unfortunately, that is not a guarantee that they WILL last that long, it is just a statement that they COULD last 30 years.  In actuality, they could die after 30 days.

Democrats are concerned that the new Supreme Court Justice will render judgements based on the law and not on his heart.  Imagine that!  I guess this shouldn’t surprise me since Democrats seem to think that they are above the law.

I love Gyros so I was excited to see that Arby’s is offering a traditional Gyro.  However, my excitement was quickly crushed after I tried one.  Sad.

A shirt manufacturer has announced a new line of shirts with collars that expand up to a half inch.  I bought expandable collar shirts many years ago but didn’t like them because it was too hard to keep my ties tight.
