Power off? Snowed in from a blizzard? Not to worry. A company is now advertising gourmet survival meals. Not only are these meals designed with a shelf life of several years, they are also gourmet. Why eat dried beans and rice when you can feast on gourmet meals.
A major store chain is pulling their Egyptian Cotton products because they discovered that it really isn’t Egyptian Cotton. Unfortunately, I suspect that most people can’t tell the difference.
This is a sculpture and not real people. However, it is so realistic that we had to watch them for several minutes just to make sure they weren’t actors. Regardless, it is causing some controversy as an Art Prize entry. Personally, I think that it is a fantastic work of art.
The concept is simple. Large carts go on one side and small carts go on the other. And while I applaud the idea, they have a hard enough time getting people to put their carts in the cart corral instead of just leaving them in the parking lot.
Every now and then, I get a request to take an on line survey. Most of these surveys are just yes/no type of questions which I don’t mind answering. And some included a few optional essay questions which I decline to answer. After all, I am not being compensated for the survey. And when the survey requires me to answer the essay questions, I delete the survey.
