One of the buildings in downtown Lansing has a sign on the outside which states that guns are not allowed in the building.  So, if you are a law abiding citizen, you will leave your gun outside.  But, if you are a criminal, you will ignore the sign and bring your gun in with you.  Why doesn’t this make me feel good?

I am very impressed with the results of the Camry crash test.  In a rear end collision,  the passenger section remained unharmed and in tact even though the entire rear end of the car was demolished.  Unfortunately, it was my Camry and I was driving.

I got hit by a very large truck on the expressway.  I walked away from the accident.  When I got up the next day, I felt fine.  However, this morning, I felt like I had been hit by a truck.  Duh!!

I will definitely buy another Camry. 

A member of the Philadelphia fire department was suspended after he posed topless for a charity photo shoot. And, while he has quite a build, his nipples were exposed and that is against the rules.

I guess next time he should wear a two piecer!

An 80+ retired Catholic Bishop was found dead in a field behind a local casino.  Apparently, he had become disoriented while leaving the casino and drove his car into a pond.

It is unfortunate that a holy man, with such a distinguished career, had to end up dying in that manner.  Spending the evening gambling, just doesn’t seem all that virtuous.

But more to the point, where was the security?  If the casino security didn’t notice a car being driven into a pond, they probably aren’t going to see people being raped, robbed or murdered.

The Quran burning minister from Florida wanted to have a peaceful demonstration in Dearborn, Mi.  Since Dearborn holds the largest Muslim population of any city in the US, the local officials would only allow it if he posted a large sum of money for stepped up police protection. The minister, of course, didn’t have that kind of money so he cried “Foul”.

Now, the cities actions also upset the ACLU who cried “freedom of speech”.  It also upset the Christian population who were tired of having to be politically correct.  And, it upset the Muslim population who didn’t like being labeled at fanatics.

I guess some days you just can’t win.
