The elections are over and I for one am glad.  I am so sick of the campaign ads on TV.  Most of the ads are negative and backed by big bucks.  For once I would like to see an ad where the candidate explained what they were going to do and how they were going to do it.  But, instead, they point out the flaws of their opponent.  But, I guess this is the price that we pay to live in a democracy.

I had breakfast at McDonalds today.  And as usual, I ordered their big breakfast.  But after I received my food, I remembered that I needed some hot sauce for my eggs.  So, I went back to the counter and waited and waited and waited.  Now, they weren’t particularly busy but I waited my turn in line with the others.  When everyone else received their food, the counter clerk turned her back on me and left.  I could have waited longer but my food was getting cold so I just gave up.

Leaders in Detroit are upset by the visit from some UN officials.  Is seems that the UN officials were upset by the living conditions there.  Fortunately, the officials were not robbed nor was their car stolen.

Maybe the UN will send in some aid workers from Africa to teach them how to grow crops.

A national toy store chain is pulling their inventory of Meth Lab action figures.  The action figures came complete with toy money, toy guns and bags of toy meth.   Apparently some mothers were upset with the toys.  Go figure.
