Every Japanese garden needs to have a Zen garden.  This is a place of peace and tranquility.  Look at those rocks.  Don’t they look so peaceful?

No Japanese garden would be complete without a sleeping Buddha.  I guess they could only afford the head.

This is one of several waterfalls in the Japanese Garden at the Meijer gardens.  I could put a waterfall in my backyard but it would be expensive to run and maintain.

The Fredrick Meijer Garden and Sculpture Park recently opened a Japanese Garden.  At first when I saw the giant domino at the entrance I was puzzled.  But then I remembered that dominos are very Asian.

I used to be hypoglycemic.  Then one day when I went for my physical, the doctor announced that I am really a type 2 diabetic.  Alarmed, I asked what had changed and he said “only the label.”   Well OK!

For those of you who like to flush the toilet with your feet, not to worry.  This unit is hands free, or I guess, foot free..

With Optum Vormax, it is CLEAN!  Of course, I don’t know what Optum Vormax means, but I guess it means “clean”.

I just watched a video on the correct way to tie my shoes.  According to the video, I have been doing it wrong for the last 60 years.  I guess that is why I only wear loafers.

Recently while driving home, I thought that I could see something in the road ahead of me but I wasn’t sure.  Sure enough, as I came up over a hill, there was a bicyclist in the road ahead of me.  He was wearing an all black outfit and riding a black bicycle on a black road.  Needless to say, I almost didn’t see him.

While I can appreciate the fact that bicyclist have a right to be on the road, they also need to use a little common sense when riding.

First it was mustard.  Then it was ketchup.  Now it is grape jelly.  What am I talking about?  Squeeze bottles!  I suppose that it is only a matter of time before we see peanut butter in a squeeze bottle!!
