No More Pulled Pork.

Quite often, when I am stuck eating supper by my self, I will go to the store and buy a package of precooked meat such as pulled pork.  It gives me enough for a nice meal with  some left over.  So, when I found myself eating solo the other night, I headed for the store.  But after looking through the packaged meat section several times, I could not find any.  So, I asked a clerk.  And he confirmed that they no longer carry it.  Rats!  So, I purchased a salad instead.

Technical Reference Books.

In the past, if I needed a technical reference book for Windows or my iPhone, I could pick them up at my local grocery store.  But when I went to the store for a book on Windows 10, I discovered that they had been replaced with adult coloring books.  I guess that the coloring books were to help you ease the stress that you have dealing with technical problems.

Peanut Oil.

We use peanut oil in our deep fat fryer so we like to buy it in multi-gallon containers.  But when we used up the last this summer, we weren’t able to find the large containers in the stores.  Finally, we found some in a bulk food store.  So, we purchased it.   But then all of the stores seemed to have it.  I would not have thought peanut oil to be a seasonal commodity.
