In the old days, prisons were productive.  They grew their own food and manufactured furniture.  But some people thought that the prisons created an unfair advantage against the private sector.  So the prisons are no longer growing their own food and making furniture.  Sad.

Given the number of campaign TV adds, I would say that the TV stations are making a fortune on the elections.

One of the candidates for governor claims that her opponent  voted for this bill and against that bill.  Since her opponent is the Attorney General and therefore does not vote, I have to wonder just how that can happen.  The Attorney General does not vote on bills.

I had a woman come up to me the other day and start talking to me like we were old friends.  But about a minute into the conversation she realized that I was not who she thought I was.  Once again, I have been mistaken for someone else.  I apparently have several body doubles.

A man who claims to be a Republican is voting for a Democrat.  Sorry, if you are voting for a Democrat, you are not a Republican, you are either a Democrat or an independent.

It is bad enough to get beat when you are a top rated team.  But it is even harder to get beat by the Lions.

Shredded cheese seems to last longer that block cheese.  I guess it is harder to see mold on shredded cheese.

Once again, I received an email saying that my Apple account was used for a purchase.  Of course I didn’t make any purchases.  But what gave it away was the bad grammar used in the email.  In fact, I wasn’t even close to good grammar.  Sorry scammers, busted again.

I saw an ad for “premium sunflower seeds”.  I guess if you want nothing but the best for your birds, you buy the “premium sunflower seeds”.

I saw a pair of $1,100 black loafers.  They didn’t look any different than the $80 black loafers.  So I guess that if I can’t tell the difference then I will buy the $80 black loafers.  Actually, I will probably wait until the $80 black loafers go on sale.
