Poor Richard III.  Not only have his remains recently been located, but now, two towns are fighting over where he should be buried.

Such a deal.  Once hated, now revered.

Some how I suspect that money is a factor.

After 500 years, the British have found the remains of King Richard III.  Of course, I am not sure just how interested the British were in finding him as they never really mounted a major effort.  But, they did find him none the less.

I wonder if it will take 500 years to find Hoffa?

The other day, I was eating lunch in a local restaurant, when I noticed a father with 2 young children eating lunch.

When it came time to pay their bill, the kids inquired about getting some penny candy that was on display by the cash register.  The dad immediately flew into a full rage.  The kids cowered and backed away from him.

I am sure that those kids will always remember that time they had together with their dad.

Sad.

At my church, we have a lot of student interns who are music majors.  Their goal in life is to be a worship leader for a large church.  But, given the number of music major in my church, I have to wonder if the supple exceeds the demand?

The other day, I drove past the local car pool lot and noticed that there was a hearse sitting there.  It made me wonder just who was carpooling?

China’s billionaires are now high ranking members of the ruling party.  I wonder what Mao would think?

My glasses get dirty quite easily, so I must clean them daily.  At work, this resulted in a morning trip to the restroom for some soap and water.  But, now that flu season has arrived, they have electric hand sanitizer that give me a shot of high alcohol disinfectant.  It works great for cleaning my glasses.  Not only does it clean them, it also sanitizes them.

Judging by the number of old TVs sitting on the curb, I would say that quite of few people bought flat screen TVs this Christmas.

Colorado has now legalized marijuana.  I guess this is now the new Rocky Mountain high.

A new sexual scandal has hit the armed services.  It is not rape or adultery, it is girly pictures.  That right, the military has discovered the young men enjoy looking at pictures of young women wearing, well, nothing.  The military is so concerned that they have even confiscate shot glasses featuring pictures of bikini clad young women.

Where have these leaders been for the past 50 years?
