The new checkout machines in the auto checkout lanes at my grocery store now have a bulk change feature.  This feature allows you to dump a hand full of change into the coin receptor to pay for your purchase instead of feeding in coins one at a time.  This is great!!  Now when I am at the store and have a pocket full of change, I can get rid of it by dumping it into the coin receptor.  And what it doesn’t need, it dumps back into the coin return.

Some airlines are charging extra for a seat.  That’s right, if you want a seat, you have to pay extra.  Otherwise, you get a standup cage for the trip.  I wonder if they charge for using the toilet.

There is now a toothbrush and an app that will keep track of how well you are brushing your teeth.  I think I will pass on that one.

It used to be that suet just rendered fat made into a brick like cake.  But suet these days are loaded with extras, kind of like nachos.  There is suet with cracked corn, and suet with meal worms and suet with peanut butter.  Actually, as I think about it, suet with peanut butter might quite good if spread on a hot bagel.

I daily receive emails of 20% off coupons from a major chain.  And some days I receiver these coupons several times a day.  Why don’t they just make everything 20% and forget the coupons.

In a effort to keep products fresh, I have noticed that more and more bagged products are now coming with zip lock closures.  Unfortunately they don’t work very well, but it was a nice idea anyway.
