Don’t want to wait in line to get a picture of your little ones with the Easter Bunny? Not to worry, this website will show you how. But, some how I suspect that there is money involved.

This Buds For You!
Budweiser is brewing a new beer to be consumed on Mars. I wonder if they had Cher in mind?
R.I.P. David Koski.
I was very sad to learn on Sunday that David Koski passed away unexpectedly last week. He was only 64. David and I both worked for the State of Michigan and carpooled to Lansing together for about 20 years. And while we were not really friends on a social level, we were close none the less. Over those 20 years of driving to Lansing and back together, we shared each others joys and sorrows.
I lost contact with David when he retired from the State of Michigan a couple of years ago. But since he lived in the area, I always figured that I would run into him. In fact just this Sunday, I commented to my wife that one of these days I expected to see him riding his bicycle down Grand River Dr. And then I read his obituary in the Sunday paper.
He enjoyed snow skiing, biking, swimming, golfing and fishing. And even though his back injury kept him in a constant state of pain, he never let that deter him from the things that he loved to do. He was a good and honest man.
Contributions in his name can be made to the Frederick Meijer’s Gardens.
So long old friend, you will be missed.
Fiber Plaque.
While fiber optics may be all the rage for high speed data communications, it is not without its problems. Some of that fiber has been in use for over 30 years and is now starting to develop plaque. The plaque clouds the fiber and reduces its effectiveness. So to correct this problem, fiber companies are now using a special light source which generates a saw tooth waveform to clean the plaque from the fiber. FWIW.
No More Pot Or Pop.
The news reported that there is legislation pending to make it illegal for welfare recipients to purchase pot with food stamps. Or was it pop? Either way, it will be as effective as banning the purchase of cigarettes and alcohol with food stamps.
Al Capone’s Gun.
Recently on the news, I heard that Al Capone’s favorite gun was a hammerless .38 made by Iver and Johnson. I found this fact to be quite interesting since I happen to own a hammerless .38 made by Iver and Johnson. Iver and Johnson also made bicycles FWIW.
More Museums Than Starbucks?
A news report stated that there are more museums in the US than Starbucks and McDonald’s combined. I find that hard to believe but then, I haven’t counted them so I don’t really know.
No More White Boards At MSU.
MSU is banning the use of white boards on the outside of dorm room doors. It seems that some people were writing nasty messages on these white boards. So, MSU decided to ban them completely. I suspect that people will just start writing nasty messages on the doors instead.
