2.5.1 is Available!

In case you haven’t noticed, I use Word Press for my blog. It is a free program run by a consortium of people. While I like the program, it seems like new versions appear about every two weeks.

Now, I am not opposed to updating my Word Press. In fact, I welcome it. But the problem is that my hosting site is not always prepared for the new versions. So, while a new version is available, my hosting site might not be set up for it for a couple of weeks. And by the time they are ready, there is another new version available.

What ever.

Chipotle Grill

We have a new restaurant here in Lansing.  It is called Chipotle Grill.  I have never been in the place but I am guessing that they specialize in Mexican food.  And judging by its location (Lansing Mall) I am going to guess that you won’t be able to buy an 99 cent taco there.

But more to the point, they have a bill board that proclaims their famous gourmet burritos.  Unfortunately, the bill board does not contain a picture of their famous gourmet burritos.  Instead, it contains a picture of something wrapped up in tin foil.  I guess it is supposed to be a burrito but it looks more like a baked potato.

I am sure that someone thought that this bill board ad was a brilliant idea but personally, it makes my fillings hurt.

President Bill Clinton

I like doing crossword puzzles, but not just any crossword puzzles. The cross word puzzles that I like to do are the ones in the New York Times of the Wall Street Journal. I like these puzzles because they require a broad knowledge of the world and not the knowledge of some sitcom.

Well, the other day I was doing a New York Times puzzles when I happened to notice that one of the writer of it was President Bill Clinton. While he didn’t actually put the puzzle together, he did write the clues for it.

Interesting. I guess with Hilary on the campaign trail, he has nothing better to do with his time. At least it keeps him away from the interns.

“…And a Wood Chuck in a Pear Tree.”

T

This is a picture of a wood chuck. The wood chuck is up in a small tree. We have seen this several times over the years. Since most people have never heard of such an thing, Kathy decided to take a picture of one just so we could show it to people.

The wood chuck, aka ground hog or ground squirrel, is the largest member of the squirrel family so they are naturally inclined to climb trees. However, since they are primarily a ground dweller, they seldom climb trees. Instead of building nests in trees, they make their home in the ground.

Due to his size, he is not very graceful. In fact, we expected him to fall out of the tree.

We don’t encourage wood chucks to stay around too much particularly after what they did to our car.
